Gigabyte H610M Gaming WIFI DDR4 Micro-ATX Motherboard
An affordable LGA1700 board with two M.2 slots, triple display outputs and built-in Wi-Fi for budget Intel gaming and office PCs.
The Gigabyte H610M Gaming WIFI DDR4 covers the essentials for a low-cost Intel system without feeling stripped back. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors, takes up to 64GB of DDR4 at 3200 MT/s across two DIMMs, and its 6+1+1 hybrid digital VRM with an 8-pin CPU power connector is comfortable with a Core i5. Punch can build it into a compact system with matching memory and a suitable cooler.
Storage and expansion
Two M.2 slots are unusual on H610: the first accepts 2280 or 2260 drives at PCIe 3.0 x4 and the second at PCIe 3.0 x2, so an operating system drive and a games or data drive can both be NVMe. Four SATA 6Gb/s ports cover hard drives. The graphics slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x16 from the processor and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot is available for a sound or network card.
Connectivity and displays
The rear panel provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports, separate PS/2 keyboard and mouse ports, two DisplayPort 1.2 and one HDMI 2.1 output for up to three displays from the processor’s integrated graphics, Realtek Gigabit Ethernet, two SMA antenna connectors and three audio jacks. The Intel Wireless-AC 9560 module supplies dual-band Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac, 160MHz) and Bluetooth 5.1. Front-panel headers add two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and four USB 2.0 ports.
Build and features
Three fan headers, two addressable RGB Gen 2 headers, a serial port header, TPM header and Gigabyte’s Q-Flash BIOS updating keep it flexible for home, office and light gaming use. High-end audio capacitors and audio noise guard tidy up the on-board sound.
