DisplayPort to DVI-D Cable 1.8m
This DisplayPort to DVI cable connects a PC or laptop with a DisplayPort output to a monitor with a DVI-D input, with no separate adapter in the chain.
At 1.8m the DisplayPort to DVI cable reaches comfortably from a tower under the desk to a monitor on top of it. It is the simple answer when a newer graphics card has only DisplayPort outputs but you want to keep using an existing DVI monitor, or when a second screen on the desk only has a DVI socket. It is a male to male lead, so it plugs straight into both devices.
DisplayPort to DVI cable resolution
The cable supports resolutions up to 1440p at 30Hz. It carries digital video only, so any audio must go over a separate connection or the PC’s own audio output.
Fitting
The DisplayPort end goes to the PC and the DVI-D end to the display. The DVI-D plug fits DVI-D and DVI-I monitor sockets. Punch can supply this cable with a new build so the system arrives ready to plug into an existing monitor.
