Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3600MHz CL18 Module (1x16GB)
A single 16GB Vengeance LPX module rated for 3600MT/s at CL18, the speed that gets the most out of AMD Ryzen 3000 and 5000 processors.
This is one 16GB DDR4 module from Corsair’s Vengeance LPX 3600MHz CL18 line, supplied under Corsair’s module-level code CM4X16GC3600C18K2D rather than a retail kit number. It carries the same specification as the modules in Corsair’s CMK32GX4M2D3600C18 kit: 3600MT/s with CAS 18 timings at 1.35V, selected through the XMP 2.0 profile, with a JEDEC fallback of 2133MT/s at 1.2V when XMP is not enabled.
Why 3600MT/s
On Ryzen 3000 and 5000 desktop CPUs the memory clock and the Infinity Fabric clock run 1:1 up to 3600MT/s, so this speed gives the best combination of bandwidth and latency without the fabric dropping to a slower ratio. Intel 10th to 12th generation DDR4 boards also run 3600MT/s comfortably with XMP.
Single module use
One 16GB stick suits a two-slot mini-ITX board that will be taken to 32GB later, or a top-up for a system already fitted with a matching Vengeance LPX 3600 CL18 module. For dual-channel bandwidth, pair it with an identical module. The low-profile anodised aluminium heat spreader keeps it clear of large air coolers.
Compatibility
Corsair lists the 3600 CL18 LPX line for Intel 300, 400, 500 and 600 series and X299, and AMD 300, 400 and 500 series and X570. Punch Technology can fit it in a new DDR4 build and will match it correctly if you later add a second module.
