Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3000MHz CL16 (1x16GB)
A single 16GB DDR4-3000 CL16 Vengeance LPX module, handy for adding capacity to an existing system or for a compact build with only two slots.
The CMK16GX4M1D3000C16 is one 16GB module from Corsair’s Vengeance LPX range, tested at 3000MT/s with CAS 16 timings at 1.35V. Load the XMP 2.0 profile in the BIOS to run at the rated speed; without it the module defaults to JEDEC 2133MT/s, CL15 at 1.2V. Corsair builds the module on an eight-layer performance PCB and screens every IC before assembly.
When a single module makes sense
A single 16GB stick suits a mini-ITX board with two slots where you want to start at 16GB and go to 32GB later, or a laptop-class small-form-factor desktop that takes one DIMM. It also works as a capacity top-up for a system already running a similar Vengeance LPX module, though for best results memory should be installed in matched pairs for dual-channel operation.
Low-profile heat spreader
The anodised aluminium heat spreader keeps the module short enough to sit under large tower coolers and inside slim cases. It is finished in black and matches the rest of the LPX range.
Compatibility and warranty
Corsair lists compatibility with Intel 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 series and X299 chipsets; it also runs on AMD AM4 boards that support XMP profiles. The module carries Corsair’s limited lifetime warranty. Punch Technology can fit it in a new DDR4 build.
