The Antec AX61 Elite is a black mid-tower gaming case for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. At 405mm deep and 200mm wide it is smaller than most ATX towers, which makes it easier to fit on a desk, but it still leaves room for a full-size graphics card and a 360mm radiator. It suits gamers on a sensible budget who want a clean look with lighting and good airflow, and Punch can build a new system into it.

Cooling and airflow

The front panel is mesh with a geometric pattern, so the three 120mm ARGB intake fans behind it pull air straight through without restriction. A fourth 120mm ARGB fan at the rear handles exhaust, and there is a further intake at the bottom. All four fans are addressable RGB and can be daisy-chained to the motherboard for synchronised lighting, or controlled from the LED button on the I/O panel if the motherboard has no ARGB header. The top accepts two 120mm or 140mm fans and the front takes radiators of 120mm, 240mm or 360mm.

Component clearance

Graphics cards up to 320mm long fit in the main chamber, and CPU coolers up to 160mm tall are supported, which covers most single-tower air coolers and many twin-tower designs. Power supply length depends on whether the drive cage is fitted: up to 165mm with it in place, or up to 345mm with it removed. There are 24mm of cable space behind the motherboard tray on the left and 13mm on the right.

Build and storage

The chassis is steel with plastic trim and a 4mm tempered glass side panel. Storage runs to a 3.5in drive position in the cage plus two 2.5in mounts, enough for a system built around an NVMe drive with a couple of SATA drives alongside. Seven expansion slots are provided.
