Aerocool Dryft V2 ATX Mid-Tower Case Black

The Aerocool Dryft V2 is a black mid-tower case for ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards. It uses a dual-chamber layout that keeps the power supply and most of the cabling in a separate compartment behind the motherboard tray, leaving the main chamber open so the components are visible through the tempered glass front and side panels. It is aimed at gamers who want a showcase build with plenty of lighting and airflow without moving up to a full tower, and it is one of the cases Punch can build a new system into.
Layout and airflow
Because the front is glass rather than mesh, the Dryft V2 draws its intake air through the side and bottom instead. Two 140mm ARGB fans are mounted on the side panel next to the motherboard and three 120mm ARGB fans sit in the floor, with a single 120mm ARGB fan at the rear to exhaust. That gives six fans out of the box, all with addressable RGB lighting that can be tied to the motherboard for synchronised effects. The 0.7mm SPCC steel body keeps the chassis rigid at this size.
Cooling support
The top accepts up to three 120mm or two 140mm fans and radiators up to 360mm, so an all-in-one liquid cooler can be fitted without disturbing the pre-installed fans. The side takes radiators up to 280mm, the bottom up to 360mm and the rear 120mm. For air coolers there is 162mm of clearance, which covers most twin-tower heatsinks, and graphics cards up to 419mm long fit with room to spare for power cables.
Storage and connectivity
Storage is modest, with one 3.5in bay and two 2.5in mounts, which suits a build based on M.2 NVMe drives with one or two SATA drives alongside. Seven expansion slots cover a full-height graphics card plus add-in cards. The top-mounted I/O panel offers one USB 3.0 port, one USB 2.0 port and an HD audio jack.
