A 64GB DDR4-3200 registered ECC module from Kingston’s Server Premier range. This is server memory and does not fit consumer desktop boards.

The KSM32RD4/64HD is a dual-rank (2Rx4) 8G x 72-bit registered DIMM built from thirty-six 4G x 4-bit SK hynix D-die components. It runs at DDR4-3200 with JEDEC-standard CL22-22-22 timings at 1.2V, supports ECC error detection and correction, and adds command/address parity. Registered modules buffer the address and control lines so a server can carry a full complement of high-density DIMMs; they are used in Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC platforms and RDIMM-based workstations, not in boards designed for unbuffered desktop DDR4.

Server Premier

Kingston Server Premier modules are built to a fixed bill of materials: the same DRAM, PCB and register in every unit, so a module bought later matches one already installed. That consistency is what server administrators need when expanding memory across a fleet. The module also carries an on-board temperature sensor with its SPD and supports write CRC at all speed grades.

Capacity and speed

64GB per slot allows large totals without filling every channel, and 3200MT/s is the top JEDEC DDR4 speed supported by current Xeon Scalable and EPYC platforms. The module will also run at 2933, 2666 and 2400 in systems that require it.
