The MSI PRO H610M-G DDR4 is the better-connected of MSI’s two budget H610 boards and suits office PCs that need more than one monitor. It supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core, Pentium Gold and Celeron processors with up to 64GB of DDR4 at 3200MHz across two DIMMs. The three video outputs, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and VGA, allow triple-monitor desks from the processor’s integrated graphics without a graphics card. Punch can build it into a complete business system.

Storage and expansion

A single M.2 slot from the chipset accepts 2242, 2260 or 2280 drives in PCIe 3.0 x4 or SATA mode, with four SATA 6Gb/s ports for further drives. The PCIe 4.0 x16 slot from the processor and a PCIe 3.0 x1 slot handle add-in cards, and an M.2 Key E slot is provided for a PCIe Wi-Fi module if wireless is needed later.

Connectivity and displays

The rear panel provides two USB 3.2 Gen 1 5Gbps Type-A ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a PS/2 port, HDMI 2.1 (4K at 60Hz), DisplayPort 1.4 (4K at 60Hz) and VGA outputs, an Intel I219V Gigabit Ethernet port and audio jacks from the Realtek ALC892 or ALC897 codec. Front-panel headers add two USB 3.2 Gen 1 and two USB 2.0 ports. No Wi-Fi or Bluetooth is fitted as standard.

Business features

A CPU fan header and one system fan header, a TPM header, chassis intrusion and serial port headers, one RGB and two addressable Rainbow LED headers and MSI’s EZ Debug LEDs cover the practical needs of an office desktop.
