A studio-class professional workstation designed for complex V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape and 3ds Max production workflows.
This Professional V-Ray / 3ds Max Studio Workstation is built for design studios and production teams working with large scenes, high-resolution assets, and GPU-accelerated rendering pipelines. Powered by AMD’s Ryzen 9 9950X processor and the NVIDIA RTX 5090 with 32GB of graphics memory, it delivers exceptional interactive performance alongside substantially increased rendering headroom — making it one of the most capable workstations available for professional architectural visualisation and 3D production work.
Built and tested in the UK by Punch Technology, every system includes a 3-year parts and labour warranty and next‑day delivery to UK mainland addresses. With over 30 years of system integration experience and AMD Elite System Builder status, Punch Technology provides long-term reliability and professional support.
To support demanding studio workflows, this system combines fast NVMe system storage with a high-capacity PCIe Gen 5 working drive. This provides rapid application loading, fast project access, and sustained write performance for V-Ray caches, Lumion assets, Enscape scene data, textures, and large working datasets.
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 dramatically expands GPU rendering capability, allowing larger scenes to remain fully GPU-resident. With 32GB of GDDR7 memory, it reduces reliance on CPU fallback during complex renders and improves consistency across iterative design and deadline-driven production work. The RTX 5090 is particularly well suited to GPU-accelerated renderers including V-Ray GPU, Chaos Corona, D5 Render, Octane Render and Redshift, as well as real-time visualisation tools such as Lumion and Enscape where VRAM capacity directly impacts scene complexity and frame rate.
Housed in the Fractal Design Epoch XL chassis and cooled by a be quiet! Silent Loop 3 360mm liquid cooler, the system maintains stable thermals and controlled acoustics during extended rendering sessions, making it suitable for shared studio environments.
Comprehensive connectivity is provided via the ASUS ProArt X870E‑Creator motherboard, offering extensive USB I/O, integrated Wi‑Fi 7, Bluetooth, and wired networking for modern studio infrastructures.
This system is also well suited to professionals working in SketchUp, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Blender and other GPU-accelerated 3D and design applications where interactive viewport performance, rendering speed and memory capacity are critical to daily productivity.
This system is best suited to studios and professionals seeking maximum GPU rendering headroom in a high-performance workstation, without the complexity or footprint of a full HEDT platform.

FAQ
Is this system suitable for studio-scale GPU rendering?
Yes. The RTX 5090 provides 32GB of GDDR7 GPU memory, enabling significantly larger scenes to remain fully GPU-resident during V-Ray, Corona, Octane and Redshift rendering. This reduces the frequency of CPU fallback, improves render consistency, and allows more complex lighting, displacement and proxy setups to be handled entirely on the GPU.
Is this system suitable for Lumion and Enscape?
Yes. Both Lumion and Enscape are heavily GPU-dependent, and the RTX 5090’s 32GB of VRAM allows larger, more detailed scenes to run at higher quality settings and frame rates than lower-specification GPUs permit. This makes the system well suited to architectural visualisation professionals who use real-time rendering tools for client presentations and walkthroughs alongside offline rendering workflows.
Why choose this over a Threadripper system?
This Studio Workstation prioritises GPU-led rendering performance and interactive responsiveness, making it ideal for artists and studios whose primary bottleneck is GPU memory and GPU compute. Threadripper Pro systems become more relevant for teams running large CPU render farms, multi-GPU accelerator configurations, or workflows requiring more than 256GB of system RAM.
Is 128GB of RAM enough for large 3ds Max and V-Ray scenes?
For the vast majority of professional studio workflows — including large architectural scenes, high-resolution asset libraries and complex multi-layered V-Ray setups — 128GB provides substantial headroom. It also supports effective multitasking across 3ds Max, Lumion, Photoshop and other studio tools simultaneously. The platform supports up to 256GB should requirements grow further.
Is the system quiet enough for shared studio environments?
Yes. The be quiet! Silent Loop 3 360mm AIO and the Fractal Design Epoch XL chassis have both been selected with acoustic performance in mind. Under standard workstation use and moderate rendering loads the system operates quietly. During sustained heavy rendering the fan speeds increase, but the 360mm radiator’s thermal headroom keeps noise within acceptable shared studio levels.
What does the warranty cover?
This system is covered by a 3-year parts and labour Return to Base (RTB) warranty. In the event of a component failure, you return the system to Punch Technology and we repair or replace the faulty parts and return it to you at no additional cost. Our team is also available for ongoing technical support throughout the warranty period.
Can this system be upgraded later?
Yes. The X870E platform supports up to 256GB of DDR5 RAM, and two free M.2 slots and four SATA ports are available for additional storage. Two free PCIe slots allow for future expansion with capture cards, additional networking, or other add-in cards. Contact our team to discuss upgrade or custom configuration options.
