Thermalright TL-C12C-S ARGB 120mm PWM Fan Triple Pack, Black
Three Thermalright TL-C12C-S fans: straightforward 120mm ARGB fans that do the job without fuss.
The TL-C12C-S is the fan Thermalright ships on many of its own coolers, sold here as a pack of three for case use. It is a conventional 25mm-thick 120mm fan with a black frame and translucent blades that diffuse the addressable lighting, so the whole impeller glows rather than just a ring. Under 4-pin PWM control it tops out at 1550 RPM, where Thermalright rates it at 66.17 CFM, 1.53 mmH2O and 25.6 dBA. Those figures make it an airflow fan first: good for intakes, exhausts and lightly restricted radiators, less so for thick radiators or dense filters.
Bearing and noise
Thermalright uses its S-FDB bearing, a fluid dynamic design intended to keep the impeller stable in any orientation and to hold noise down at low speeds. Rubber corner pads on the frame isolate the fan from the case panel. Weight is 120g per fan, and each draws 0.20A.
Lighting
The lighting connects through a standard 3-pin 5V ARGB plug and is controlled by the motherboard’s software, with no proprietary hub required. Three fans fill a front intake or a 360mm radiator with matched lighting for a modest outlay. Punch can fit these in a new build and connect them to the motherboard’s ARGB header.
Ideal for
- Budget builds that want ARGB on three matching fans
- Front intakes and 360mm all-in-one radiators
- Matching the fans supplied on Thermalright coolers
