Ryzen 7 5700X processor for running everything at once
Streaming is a multitasking job. Your game, your streaming software, chat, a browser and a capture or editing tool are often all open together, and the AMD Ryzen 7 5700X gives them 8 cores and 16 threads to share. It runs at a 3.4GHz base clock with a maximum turbo of 4.6GHz and carries 32MB of L3 cache, on the AM4 platform with a B550 chipset. The processor has no integrated graphics, so every monitor connects to the dedicated graphics card.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 brings 8GB of GDDR7 memory and 3840 cores to the build. It is a 1080p graphics card, which suits the resolution most streams are broadcast at. It has 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b outputs and supports up to 4 monitors, so you can keep the game on one screen and your chat, scenes and dashboards on another. The output layout may vary by card brand.
BlackMagic Intensity Pro 4K capture card
The BlackMagic Intensity Pro 4K lets you capture Ultra HD video at up to 30 frames per second, or 1080 HD at up to 60 frames per second. It also includes DaVinci Resolve, giving you a full capture and playback solution along with professional video editing and colour grading, without having to buy extra software. The card is already fitted and tested, so there is nothing to install before you start.
Memory and storage for recordings and projects
The 16GB of DDR4 3200MHz memory runs in dual channel as 2 x 8GB. The motherboard has 4 DIMM slots, 2 of them used, and supports up to 128GB, so there is room to grow if you also edit video. The 1TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (7100MB/s read, 6700MB/s write) holds Windows and your applications. The 2TB Seagate BarraCuda 7200rpm hard drive gives you bulk space for recordings, finished videos and archives. A second M.2 slot is free, and there are 4 SATA 6Gb/s ports, 1 of them used.
Phanteks XT Pro Ultra case and 240mm AIO cooling
The Phanteks XT Pro Ultra Black is a mid tower with a tempered glass side panel and 4 pre-installed 140mm M25-140 D-RGB fans. The MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 Black has a 240mm radiator and keeps the processor cooled. A Contour 650W ATX power supply feeds the system. The case measures 450mm deep, 230mm wide and 500mm high, and it has mounts for 1 x 3.5″ and 5 x 2.5″ drives.
Connectivity for your microphone, camera and controllers
The motherboard has built-in Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.3, plus a 1GbE Realtek wired LAN port, so you can choose between wireless and a cable. Audio is Realtek 7.1 HD Audio. At the rear you get 1 x Type-A 10Gbps, 1 x Type-C 5Gbps, 3 x Type-A 5Gbps and 4 x Type-A USB 2.0 ports, enough for a microphone, webcam, headset and controllers. At the front there is an audio combo jack, a USB 3.0 Type-A port and a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 port. No keyboard or mouse is included.
