Ryzen 9 7900 RX 9070 XT Sim Racing PC – Built in the UK
The Sim Racing Gaming PC – Ryzen 9 7900, RX 9070 XT is a high-performance RX 9070 XT sim racing PC with a 12-core processor, 16GB of graphics memory and support for up to four monitors.
This RX 9070 XT sim racing PC pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB graphics card. That gives a racing simulator, your telemetry and chat apps and a recording or streaming tool room to run side by side. It is built on a Gigabyte X870 Gaming X Wifi 7 ATX motherboard, so you get the AM5 platform, DDR5 memory and fast NVMe storage underneath the sim. Every system is built to order and tested in the UK, and you can change parts in the configurator before you order.
The Sim Racing Gaming PC – Ryzen 9 7900, RX 9070 XT is built on an AMD Ryzen 9 7900 with 12 cores and 24 threads, an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT with 16GB of GDDR6 and 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory. Storage is a 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. It is supplied with Microsoft Windows 11 Home (genuine, pre-installed) and a 3-year parts and labour warranty.
AMD Ryzen 9 7900 for simulator workloads
The AMD Ryzen 9 7900 has 12 cores and 24 threads, a 3.7GHz base clock, a maximum turbo of 5.4GHz and 64MB of L3 cache. It uses the AM5 socket and includes integrated graphics. A racing simulator rarely runs alone: voice chat, telemetry tools, capture software and Windows background tasks all want processor time too. With 24 threads available, those extras have cores to use instead of competing with the sim. The processor is cooled by an MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 Black 240mm AIO liquid cooler.
RX 9070 XT graphics for multi-screen racing
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT has 16GB of GDDR6 and 4096 cores, with a rated power of 304 W. Its outputs are 3 x DisplayPort 2.1a and 1 x HDMI 2.1b, supporting up to four monitors (the layout may vary by card brand). That is enough for a triple-screen racing view with a spare output for a fourth display. The card is aimed at 1440p ultra settings and 4K at high settings in demanding games, and 16GB of memory gives room for high-resolution textures and the extra pixels of a wider view. How far you can push a multi-monitor or VR setup depends on the title and the settings you choose.
32GB DDR5 memory and 2TB NVMe storage
Memory is a 32GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 kit, fitted as 2 x 16GB in dual channel. The board has four DIMM slots with two in use and supports up to 256GB. The primary drive is a 2TB M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD rated at 5000MB/s read and 4200MB/s write, which holds Windows, your simulators and their car and track content with space left over. Two further M.2 slots are free, and the board also has four SATA 6Gb/s ports, none yet used.
Phanteks NV5 case and 240mm liquid cooling
The Phanteks NV5 Black is a mid tower with a panoramic tempered glass side, and five fans are supplied pre-installed. The 240mm radiator of the MSI MAG CORELIQUID A13 cooler works with those fans to keep the processor cool during long sessions. Power comes from a Contour 850W ATX 3.1 non-modular PSU, which sits comfortably above the graphics card’s 304 W rating. The case measures 477mm deep, 239mm wide and 528mm high, so check your desk or rig space. It has mounts for three 3.5in and four 2.5in drives if you add storage later.
Connectivity for wheels, pedals and peripherals
The rear panel has 2 x Type-C, 1 x Type-A 10Gbps, 3 x Type-A 5Gbps and 4 x Type-A USB 2.0 ports, plus a 2.5GbE Ethernet port. The Type-C ports are USB4. The front panel adds 1 x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, 2 x USB 3.0 Type-A and an audio jack. Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 are built in, though a wired connection is usually the steadier choice for online racing. Audio is Realtek 7.1 HD Audio. For expansion there are two spare PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, and the graphics card uses the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot.
Ideal for
- Sim racers who connect a wheelbase, pedals and other controllers and want plenty of USB ports
- Drivers building a triple-screen setup, with a fourth display output spare
- Gamers who also play demanding titles such as Cyberpunk 2077 and Black Myth: Wukong at 1440p
- Streamers and recorders who run OBS alongside the sim
- Buyers who want free M.2, SATA and memory slots for later upgrades
For drivers who want an RX 9070 XT sim racing PC with a 12-core Ryzen 9 7900, DDR5 6000MHz memory and room to grow, this build is a well-balanced choice. The processor, graphics card, 32GB of memory and 2TB NVMe drive are matched to one another, and the case, cooler and PSU support them. Keyboard and mouse are not included, and you can adjust the parts in the configurator to suit your rig.
Built to order and tested in the UK by Punch Technology, every system comes with a 3-year parts and labour warranty, backed by over 30 years of PC building experience and our status as an AMD Elite System Builder. The estimated lead time for your configuration is shown when you order.
