AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation – Built in the UK

The AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation is a high clock speed Intel workstation for architects, engineers and BIM users who spend their day in Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD.

This AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation is our recommended specification for Revit, and it has been updated to DDR5 memory to improve performance. Revit performance depends heavily on the processor but cannot use many CPU cores at once. A chip with strong instructions per clock and a high boost speed matters more than a very high core count, so this system is built around the Intel Core Ultra 9 285 with 32GB of memory. The graphics card is a sensible mid-range model, because Revit makes limited use of the GPU.

The AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation is built on an Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor with 24 cores and 24 threads, 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB GDDR7 graphics card and a 1TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. It runs genuine, pre-installed Microsoft Windows 11 Professional on a Gigabyte Z890 EAGLE WIFI7 motherboard, with a 750W power supply and an air-cooled Antec FLUX case. Every system is covered by a 3-year parts and labour warranty.

Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor for Revit and AutoCAD

The Intel Core Ultra 9 285 has 24 cores (8 performance and 16 efficient cores) and 24 threads. It runs at a performance-core base clock of 2.5GHz with a maximum turbo of 5.6GHz, and has 36MB of L3 cache. That high single-core boost speed is what matters for the main Revit modelling thread. The extra cores help when you keep other applications open or run background tasks alongside your model.

The processor is cooled by a Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120 SE ARGB 280W dual-tower air cooler, 155mm tall. It suits long working sessions with large models, and it avoids the pump and radiator of a liquid cooler.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti graphics

The NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti has 8GB of GDDR7 memory and 4608 cores. It is a good mid-range card for the viewport and for driving several screens, and we have not spent more here because Revit does not take heavy advantage of the GPU. The card has 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b outputs, for up to four monitors (the layout may vary by card brand). That is enough for a model view, sheets, schedules and reference material side by side.

If you also use an application that relies on GPU rendering, a higher specification graphics card could benefit you. You can change the card in the configurator.

32GB DDR5 memory and 1TB NVMe storage

Revit needs about 16GB of system memory for most projects, and very large projects benefit from 32GB. This system has 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 in a dual-channel 2 x 16GB kit. That leaves room for linked models, AutoCAD drawings and a browser or PDF viewer open at the same time without slowing down. The motherboard has four DIMM slots, two of them used, and supports up to 256GB.

The 1TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD (7100MB/s read, 6700MB/s write) holds Windows and your applications and opens large project files quickly. There are three further M.2 slots free and four SATA ports, and the case has mounts for 2 x 3.5in and 3 x 2.5in drives. You can add archive or project storage later.

Antec FLUX case and 750W power supply

The Antec FLUX in wood and black is a mid tower with a 4mm tempered glass side panel, so it looks at home in a studio or office. It measures 484mm deep, 239mm wide and 502mm tall. It comes with five fans pre-installed: three 120mm PWM fans at the front, a 140mm PWM fan at the rear and a 120mm PWM reverse fan on the PSU shroud. Power comes from a Contour 750W ATX 3.1 non-modular PSU.

Connectivity and Windows 11 Professional

The Gigabyte Z890 motherboard gives you 2.5GbE wired networking, built-in Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and 7.1 HD Audio. It also has a Thunderbolt / USB4 Type-C port. At the rear there are two USB Type-C ports (one at 10Gbps), two Type-A 10Gbps ports and the 2.5GbE network port. The front panel has a 10Gbps USB-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports and a headphone and microphone combo jack. Beyond the graphics card slot, there are two PCIe 4.0 x4 slots for expansion cards.

The system comes with Microsoft Windows 11 Professional (genuine, pre-installed). It adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop and domain join, which matter on a practice or office network.

Ideal for

  • Architects and designers building Revit models
  • AutoCAD drafters and engineers who want a fast, stable desktop
  • Practices that need Windows 11 Professional for BitLocker and domain join
  • Users who want up to four monitors for model views, sheets and schedules

For Revit and AutoCAD work where per-core speed counts for more than raw core count, the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation is a well-balanced choice. Its fast processor, 32GB of DDR5 memory and quick NVMe storage go where this software benefits most, and the mid-range graphics card avoids unnecessary spend. Memory, storage and graphics can all be changed in the configurator.

Built to order and tested in the UK by Punch Technology, every system comes with a 3-year parts and labour warranty, backed by over 30 years of PC building experience. The estimated lead time for your configuration is shown when you order.

What is the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation best for?

The AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation is primarily a Revit and AutoCAD machine for architectural and building design models. It puts its budget into the 5.6GHz maximum turbo of the Core Ultra 9 285 and 32GB of DDR5 memory, because those two parts decide how responsive a Revit model feels. Graphics power is kept at a sensible mid-range level.

In daily use that means working in Revit and AutoCAD, often with both open and a few linked drawings or PDFs alongside. The 32GB of memory is there so a second application does not slow the model down. For lighter real-time visualisation work in Unreal Engine 5, the RTX 5060 Ti is capable, but its 8GB of graphics memory is the limit. Heavy GPU rendering calls for a larger card from the configurator.

Where does the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation sit in the range?

This workstation sits above the High Performance Core Ultra 7 Office PC, which has an Intel Core Ultra 7 265 (20 cores, 5.3GHz), 32GB of DDR5 and a 1TB SSD. The Core Ultra 9 285 here adds more cores and a 5.6GHz boost clock, and the system includes a dedicated graphics card and Windows 11 Professional. The High Performance PC Optimised for Ableton is also below it, with an AMD Ryzen 7 7700 and 16GB of DDR5, but that system is built for audio production rather than CAD. If you need more than this specification offers, the configurator lets you raise the graphics, memory and storage.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Performance Workstation run Revit and AutoCAD smoothly?

Yes, it is specified for Revit and AutoCAD work. The Core Ultra 9 285 reaches 5.6GHz, which suits Revit’s limited use of multiple cores, and the 32GB of DDR5 memory gives room for large models and several applications open together. It also handles lighter Unreal Engine 5 visualisation, although the 8GB of graphics memory is the limit for large scenes.

How many monitors can I connect?

You can connect up to four monitors to the graphics card. The RTX 5060 Ti has 3 x DisplayPort 2.1b and 1 x HDMI 2.1b outputs, though the exact layout may vary by card brand. This suits a setup with the model, sheets and schedules on separate screens.

Why does this PC come with Windows 11 Professional?

Windows 11 Professional adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop and domain join. These features are useful in a practice or office where PCs sit on a company network and project files need protecting. The operating system is genuine and pre-installed.

Can I add more memory or storage later?

Yes. The motherboard has four DIMM slots with two used and supports up to 256GB of memory. There are three free M.2 slots and four free SATA ports, and the case has mounts for 2 x 3.5in and 3 x 2.5in drives. For advice on a later upgrade, call us on 0151 317 9860.

Who is this PC best suited for?

This PC is best suited to architects, designers, engineers and BIM users who work mainly in Revit and AutoCAD. It also suits practices that want Windows 11 Professional and a stable system to run all day. It is less suited to heavy GPU rendering, which needs a bigger graphics card.

Does it come with a keyboard and mouse, and what warranty does it have?

No keyboard or mouse is included, but you can add them from our accessories. The system comes with a 3-year parts and labour warranty, and free returns on warranty claims in the first year. It is built to order, and the estimated lead time for your configuration is shown when you order.
