Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation PC – Built in the UK

The Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation PC is a built-to-order professional graphics system for CAD, 3D design, visualisation and media work, with an Intel Core i7-12700KF and an NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB graphics card.

This Quadro RTX Pro graphics workstation PC is designed for professionals in manufacturing, media and entertainment, and architecture, engineering and construction (AEC). NVIDIA’s RTX Pro range, which was previously sold under the Quadro name, is certified with a broad range of professional applications, so you can concentrate on the work rather than on driver and compatibility questions. Graphical workstations need consistent performance and reliability, and this system uses standardised components so that maintenance and future upgrades stay straightforward. Because it is built to order, you can change any part in the configurator to match your workflow.

The Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation is built on an Intel Core i7-12700KF (12 cores, 20 threads, 3.6GHz base, up to 5.0GHz turbo) on an ASUS TUF Gaming B760-PLUS WIFI ATX motherboard. Graphics come from an NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB GDDR6 card with four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs. It has 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 memory (2 x 16GB), a 2TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD and a Contour 650W power supply. Microsoft Windows 11 Professional is supplied genuine and pre-installed, and the system carries a 3-year parts and labour warranty.

Processor, cooling and memory

The Intel Core i7-12700KF has 12 cores and 20 threads, a 3.6GHz base clock, a 5.0GHz maximum turbo and 25MB of L3 cache, on the LGA1700 socket. It has no integrated graphics, so the dedicated graphics card drives every monitor. A Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Mini dual-tower air cooler looks after the processor. The 32GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz CL36 kit runs in dual channel as two 16GB modules. The motherboard has four DIMM slots and supports up to 192GB, with two slots used, so there is room to grow as your projects get larger.

2TB NVMe storage with room to expand

The primary drive is a 2TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD rated at 7100MB/s read and 6700MB/s write. It holds Windows, your applications and your active project files. The motherboard has three M.2 slots, all PCIe 4.0 x4, with one used and two free, and four SATA 6Gb/s ports that are all free. The case has mounts for three 3.5in and eight 2.5in drives, so archive and scratch storage can be added later. There is no optical drive fitted.

NVIDIA RTX A1000 professional graphics

The NVIDIA RTX A1000 has 8GB of GDDR6 memory, 2304 cores and a 50W power rating. It has four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, so one card can run up to four monitors on a multi-screen design desk (the output layout may vary by card brand). The motherboard’s DisplayPort and HDMI video outputs are not active, so every display connects to the graphics card. The 8GB of video memory suits CAD, 3D modelling and visualisation at a sensible scale. Very large scenes and heavy GPU rendering need more video memory, and you can change the graphics card in the configurator.

Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 case and power

The system is housed in a black Be Quiet! Pure Base 600, a solid steel mid tower measuring 492mm deep, 220mm wide and 470mm high. A 120mm rear fan and a 140mm front fan are pre-installed, and the processor is air-cooled, with no liquid cooling to maintain. A Contour 650W ATX power supply feeds the system. The front panel has two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a headphone jack and a microphone jack.

Connectivity and Windows 11 Professional

Wired networking is 2.5GbE, and Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 are built in. Audio is 7.1 HD Audio. The rear panel has one Type-C 20Gbps port, one Type-A 10Gbps port, three Type-A 5Gbps ports and one USB 2.0 port, alongside the 2.5GbE Ethernet port. Windows 11 Professional adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop and domain join, which suit a workstation that handles client files or joins an office network. No keyboard or mouse is included, so add the ones you prefer from the accessory links below.

Ideal for

  • Product designers and engineers in manufacturing working in CAD and 3D modelling
  • AEC professionals producing building models and visualisations
  • Media and entertainment artists doing 3D work, motion graphics and video editing
  • Multi-monitor desks that need up to four displays from a single graphics card
  • Studios and offices that want Windows 11 Professional with BitLocker and domain join

The Quadro RTX Pro graphics workstation PC balances a fast 12-core processor, 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz memory, a 2TB NVMe drive and an RTX A1000 professional graphics card in a solid steel mid tower. With free memory slots, M.2 slots, SATA ports and PCIe slots, it can be expanded as your projects grow, or reconfigured before you order.

Built to order and tested in the UK by Punch Technology, every system comes with a 3-year parts and labour warranty, backed by over 30 years of PC building experience. The estimated lead time for your configuration is shown when you order.

What is the Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation best for?

The Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation is primarily a professional CAD, 3D design and visualisation machine for single-screen and multi-monitor desks. The RTX A1000 8GB and the 12-core Core i7-12700KF suit modelling, drawing and assembly work, smooth viewport navigation and scenes of a moderate size. The 2TB NVMe drive keeps project files close to the processor. It is not aimed at 8K workflows or very large GPU-rendered scenes, which need more video memory than 8GB.

For media and entertainment work, Photoshop and Lightroom Classic suit this system well, and Premiere Pro handles HD and 4K proxy workflows. Blender, DaVinci Resolve and Unreal Engine 5 run well on smaller projects and scenes. For manufacturing and AEC users, the multi-monitor output and Windows 11 Professional make it a practical workstation for design offices, and its parts can be changed in the configurator if your software needs something different.

Where does the Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation sit in the range?

Below it, the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Value Workstation V2 uses the same Core i7-12700KF and RTX A1000 8GB, but with DDR4 3200MHz memory and a 1TB SSD, while the Best Value PC for UE4 Architecture pairs a Ryzen 7 5800X with a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB and DDR4 memory. Above it, the AutoCAD Revit 2026 Core i7 PC steps up to a Core i7-14700KF with 20 cores, and the Professional Ryzen 9 High Performance Workstation uses a Ryzen 9 9900X with a GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 8GB. Both of those also use 32GB of DDR5 6000MHz CL36 memory, as this system does, while this system pairs that memory with a 2TB SSD and the RTX A1000.

Frequently Asked Questions

What software can the Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation run?

It is built for professional 3D, CAD and design software on an 8GB RTX A1000 with a 12-core processor. Photoshop and Lightroom Classic suit it well, and Premiere Pro runs HD and 4K proxy workflows. Blender, DaVinci Resolve and Unreal Engine 5 handle smaller projects and scenes. Very large scenes, 8K footage and heavy GPU rendering are better served by a card with more video memory, which you can choose in the configurator.

Can the Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation drive four monitors?

Yes, the NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB has four Mini DisplayPort 1.4a outputs, so one card drives up to four monitors. The layout may vary by card brand. The motherboard’s DisplayPort and HDMI outputs are not active because the i7-12700KF has no integrated graphics, so connect every monitor to the graphics card. Monitors with full-size DisplayPort or HDMI inputs need a Mini DisplayPort cable or adapter.

Why does this PC come with Windows 11 Professional?

Windows 11 Professional adds BitLocker drive encryption, Remote Desktop and domain join, which Windows 11 Home does not offer. These suit a workstation that holds client project files or joins an office network. It is supplied genuine and pre-installed.

Can I upgrade the memory and storage later?

Yes. The motherboard has four DIMM slots and supports up to 192GB of memory, with two slots used by the 2 x 16GB Kingston Fury Beast RGB DDR5 6000MHz kit. It also has two free M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots and four unused SATA 6Gb/s ports, and the case has mounts for three 3.5in and eight 2.5in drives. A spare PCIe 3.0 x16 (x4) slot and two PCIe 3.0 x1 slots are available for add-in cards.

Who is this PC best suited for?

It suits designers, engineers and artists in manufacturing, AEC, and media and entertainment who want professional graphics, up to four monitors and Windows 11 Professional in one workstation. It also suits studios and design offices that need BitLocker and domain join. Buyers who regularly work with very large scenes or heavy GPU rendering should look further up the range or choose a graphics card with more video memory.

Can I change the parts in the Quadro RTX Pro Graphics Workstation?

Yes, you can change parts in the configurator before you order. The system is built to order and tested in the UK, and the estimated lead time for your configuration is shown when you order. Every system comes with a 3-year parts and labour warranty.
