Fractal Design North Chalk White TG Clear Case

The Fractal Design North in Chalk White with a clear tempered glass side panel is an ATX mid-tower designed to sit in a living room or study rather than under a desk. The front is made of real walnut slats with brass-coloured details, and the open slat design doubles as the air intake for the two 140mm Aspect 14 PWM fans behind it. It supports ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards and is a strong choice for a gaming or creative PC that has to look good in a shared space. Punch can build a new system into it.
Cooling and airflow
Air is drawn in through the walnut slats by two front Aspect 14 fans, with room for three 120mm or two 140mm fans and a radiator up to 360mm in that position. The top takes two 120mm or 140mm fans and a radiator up to 240mm, the side has two further 120mm or 140mm mounts and the rear takes a 120mm fan or radiator. CPU air coolers up to 145mm tall are supported, so a low or medium-height tower cooler is needed rather than the tallest twin-tower designs.
Clearances and storage
Graphics cards up to 355mm long fit, dropping to around 300mm if a 360mm radiator is mounted at the front. Power supplies up to 255mm long are accepted. Storage runs to two dedicated 2.5in mounts and two combined 3.5in/2.5in mounts, with seven expansion slots.
Build and connectivity
The chassis is steel finished in Chalk White, with the clear glass panel on the left and a steel panel on the right; a mesh-sided version is sold separately for those who prefer airflow over the view. The top-mounted I/O includes one USB Type-C 20Gbps port, two USB-A 5Gbps ports and separate audio and microphone jacks. Empty weight is 7.7kg.
