Delta FHSA9025S-1553 95W Intel CPU Cooler

The Delta FHSA9025S-1553 is an OEM cooler made by Delta Electronics, one of the manufacturers that builds the standard heatsink and fan units bundled with Intel desktop processors. It has a round aluminium heatsink with a copper core and a 92mm fan on top, and it clips into the standard Intel push-pin hole pattern. It is the straightforward choice when a system needs a basic cooler: replacing a failed or missing stock unit, building an office PC with a low-wattage processor, or fitting out a case where there is little height to spare.
Cooling and noise
The cooler is rated for processors up to 95 W, which covers the Core i3, i5 and i7 parts used on these sockets, though for a sustained heavy workload on a 95 W chip a larger cooler will run cooler and quieter. The 92mm fan is PWM controlled through a 4-pin connector and is rated at 22 dB(A), so at idle and in general desktop use it is unobtrusive.
Compatibility
The push-pin mounting fits Intel LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156 and LGA1200 motherboards. It does not fit LGA1700 or LGA1851 boards, which use a different hole spacing, or any AMD socket. At 51 mm tall it fits slimline and small form factor cases that cannot take a tower cooler.
Build quality
Delta is a long-established fan and thermal manufacturer and this is a plain, reliable part with no lighting and nothing to configure. Punch can fit it in a new build or supply it as a replacement for an existing system.
