ADATA Premier 4GB DDR4 2666MHz SO-DIMM (1x4GB)
A 4GB ADATA Premier DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM for laptops, mini PCs and thin clients that need a small, inexpensive memory top-up.
ADATA’s Premier range is plain JEDEC-standard memory with no heat spreaders or profiles, designed to run at its rated speed straight out of the box. The AD4S26664G19-SGN is the 4GB module in the DDR4 2666 SO-DIMM line: 260-pin, 1.2V, supplied in a single tray. It suits notebooks and compact systems built on Intel Coffee Lake and later platforms and AMD AM4 mini PCs, and on boards rated for 2400 or 2133 it simply runs at the slower speed.
Where 4GB fits
Four gigabytes is not enough for a main Windows machine on its own, but it is exactly what is needed to take a 4GB laptop or thin client to 8GB in dual channel, or to populate a low-cost signage player, point-of-sale terminal or embedded controller. It is also a useful spare for repair work.
Efficiency
DDR4 at 1.2V draws about 20 per cent less power than DDR3, which helps battery life in a laptop and keeps fanless mini PCs cooler. ADATA specifies every chip to JEDEC and RoHS standards and backs the module with a limited lifetime warranty.
Fitting
SO-DIMMs insert at an angle and press down until the retaining clips click. Punch Technology can fit it in a new mini-PC or thin-client build.
