This is our new recommended hardware specification for Autodesk Revit 2025. We have updated the specification to a higher level by changing to use DDR5 memory in order to improve performance.
Autodesk Revit 2025 performance is very dependent on CPU performance but is not able to use many CPU cores at once. Therefore it is best to choose a processor with a very efficient IPC (instructions per clock) and a high clock speed. The current leader in these metrics is the Intel Core Ultra 9 285 processor so this is included in this system.
Revit 2025 doesn’t utilise the GPU very heavily so we have included a good mid range card in this system. If you have a particular application which does utilise GPU rendering, you could benefit from a higher specification GPU but at present Revit 2025 doesn’t take advantage of this hardware.
Revit 2025 will need 16GB of system memory for most projects but very large projects may benefit from 32GB. We have installed 32GB into this system in order to future proof it and also to allow more than one application to be open at once without impacting on performance.
