The second-generation NV5 keeps the near-seamless wrap-around glass and adds back-connect motherboard support and a dedicated GPU fan position.

The NV5 MKII is a showcase mid-tower: two glass panels meet at the front corner with no pillar in between, so the whole build is on display. Underneath, it is a practical chassis with a top-mounted PSU chamber that opens for cable management, eight 120mm fan positions and support for MSI Project Zero and ASUS BTF rear-connector boards. It ships without fans, and Phanteks’ integrated D-RGB lighting is controlled from the front panel or synced with the motherboard.

Cooling layout

Three 120mm fans fit in the top and three in the side intake, each position taking a 360mm radiator, with a single rear exhaust and a bottom fan aimed at the graphics card. Clearance is generous: 440mm for the GPU, 170mm of GPU height, 180mm for a tower cooler and 230mm for the power supply. A GPU support bracket is included.

Storage and I/O

Four 2.5in SSD mounts and three 3.5in HDD bays cover most storage needs, and the seven expansion slots can be swapped for a three-slot vertical GPU mount with a separately sold riser. Front I/O includes USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, two USB 3.0 ports, audio and D-RGB mode and colour buttons. Punch can build a complete PC in the NV5 MKII with fans chosen to suit the components.
