A single 8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4-3000 CL16 module for topping up or repairing a DDR4 desktop.

This module is supplied under Corsair’s module-level code CM4X8GD3000C16K4D, which identifies an 8GB stick from the Vengeance LPX 3000MHz CL16 family (the same modules Corsair sells in its CMK32GX4M4D3000C16 four-module kit). It is tested at 3000MT/s with CAS 16 timings at 1.35V, applied through the XMP 2.0 profile; without XMP it runs at the JEDEC default of 2133MT/s, CL15 at 1.2V.

Where it fits

A single 8GB module is the natural way to take an 8GB system to 16GB in dual channel, or to replace one failed stick in a set. It matches other Vengeance LPX 3000 CL16 modules in appearance and specification, so a mixed set looks and behaves consistently. For a new build, Punch Technology would normally fit a matched pair, but the module can be included in a new system where a single stick is required.

Low-profile heat spreader

The anodised aluminium heat spreader keeps the module short enough to fit under large air coolers and in slim cases, while still drawing heat away from the DRAM during sustained loads.

Compatibility

Corsair lists the 3000 CL16 LPX line for Intel 100, 200, 300, 400, 500 and 600 series, X99 and X299 platforms; it also runs on AMD AM4 boards that support XMP profiles.
