The reverse-blade version of the Phanteks D30, for intake positions where you want the clean face of the fan on show through the glass.

A standard fan pulls air in through its open, bladed face and pushes it out past the motor hub and frame struts. Mounted as a bottom or side intake behind a glass panel, that means the cabled, strutted rear of the fan is what you see. The D30-120 Reverse flips the blade geometry so the fan draws air from the hub side and pushes it out through the blades, letting you mount the good-looking face outward while still bringing air into the case. It keeps the 30mm frame, seven-blade design and 250 to 2000 RPM PWM range of the regular D30, with 61.5 CFM and 2.72 mmH2O on the reverse blade profile.

Daisy-chain connections

The 4-pin PWM and 3-pin JST D-RGB connectors both pass through to the next fan, so up to four D30 fans can share one fan header and one 5V ARGB header. A D-RGB mainboard adapter, corner and bridge clips and screw covers come in the box, and lighting is controlled through the motherboard’s software rather than a separate hub.

Lighting and reliability

Thirty addressable LEDs light the frame and blades from all sides. The fluid dynamic bearing is rated at 50,000 hours MTBF and Phanteks provides a three-year warranty. Radiator screws in both UNC 6-32 and M4 are included. Punch can fit this fan in a new build and orient it correctly for the case.
