The D30-120 is Phanteks’ premium addressable-RGB fan, built on the same thick-frame, aerodynamic-blade approach as the T30 performance fan. The extra 5mm of depth over a standard 25mm fan gives the seven blades more room to move air, which is why the D30 reaches 64.3 CFM and 3.01 mmH2O of static pressure at its 2000 RPM ceiling while still winding down to 250 RPM when the PC is idle. This triple pack is the sensible way to fit out a front intake or a 360mm radiator in one go, and the white frame suits light-themed builds where black fans would stand out for the wrong reasons.

Daisy-chain cabling

Each fan carries a 4-pin PWM connector and a 3-pin JST D-RGB connector that pass through to the next fan, so up to four fans can hang off a single motherboard fan header and a single 5V ARGB header. The pack includes two D-RGB mainboard adapters, corner and bridge clips for linking fans side by side, and screw covers to finish the frame edges. No separate controller is needed; lighting is handled by the motherboard’s own software (Aura Sync, RGB Fusion 2.0, Mystic Light, Polychrome Sync and Razer Chroma are all supported).

Lighting and build quality

Thirty addressable LEDs per fan light the frame and the blades from all sides, so the effect reads properly whether the fan is mounted as intake or exhaust. A fluid dynamic bearing rated at 50,000 hours MTBF keeps the fan quiet over its life, and Phanteks backs it with a three-year warranty. Both 36mm UNC and M4 radiator screws are in the box, so the fans go straight onto an AIO or custom loop radiator. Punch can fit these in a new build if you would like the lighting configured before it ships.
