The Pure Rock Pro 3 is be quiet!’s mid-range tower cooler for people who want high-end cooling capacity without a liquid loop. Its 250W TDP rating covers every current mainstream desktop processor from Intel and AMD, including the higher-power Core and Ryzen parts that push a single-fan cooler to its limits. The all-black finish suits builds where the cooler is on show through a glass panel.

Six heat pipes, two fans

Six 6mm nickel-plated copper heat pipes carry heat from a CNC-machined contact plate into an aluminium fin stack with an electrophoresis coating. Two Pure Wings 3 120mm PWM fans push air through the fins, with a funnel-shaped outlet that increases airflow at a given speed. be quiet! rates the pair at 14.0 dB(A) at 50% speed and 34.8 dB(A) flat out.

Clearance for memory and VRMs

The compact offset design keeps the fin stack away from the memory slots and the motherboard’s power delivery, so tall heat-spreader RAM fits and the VRM heatsinks still get airflow. At 155mm tall it fits most mid-tower cases; check your case’s maximum cooler height before ordering.

Fitting

Mounting hardware is included for Intel LGA1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150 and 1155 and AMD AM5 and AM4, and the cooler is compatible with liquid-metal thermal compounds. Punch can fit it in a new build and set the fan curve for quiet running.
