The AMP GH V2 is Phanteks’ high-output supply for builds with a top-tier graphics card and a high-core-count processor. Despite its 1200W rating it keeps to a 140mm depth, so it fits in cases that would struggle with longer flagship units. It meets the Intel ATX 3.1 specification, which means it is designed to ride through the sharp transient loads that current GPUs produce rather than tripping its protection.

Native PCIe 5.1 power

A single 12V-2×6 connector on a 720mm cable delivers up to 600W to the graphics card with no adaptor, and four 6+2-pin PCIe connectors on 750mm cables remain for cards and accessories with conventional inputs. Two 4+4-pin CPU cables, ten SATA connectors and two Molex connectors cover dual-EPS motherboards and a full set of drives. All cables are fully modular and individually textured, which makes routing tidy and keeps unused leads out of the case.

Platinum efficiency, quiet running

80 Plus Platinum certification keeps waste heat low, and a 120mm hydraulic dynamic bearing fan handles what remains. In hybrid mode the fan stays off entirely below 30% load, so the supply is silent when you are browsing or working on documents and only spins up when the system is under real load.

Protection and support

The unit carries a full set of protections including over-power, over-voltage, under-voltage, short-circuit, over-current and over-temperature, and Phanteks backs it with an eight-year limited warranty. Punch can fit it in a new build and route the textured cables for a clean finish.
