Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 ARGB Black PWM Fan

The Cooler Master SickleFlow 120 ARGB is one of the most widely used budget lighting fans, and for good reason: it moves a reasonable amount of air, runs quietly at low speed and its six addressable LEDs light the translucent blades evenly. The black frame and clear blades suit almost any case. Cooler Master’s updated blade design has more curvature than the original SickleFlow for better airflow and pressure, the frame has extra ribs to reduce turbulence and noise, and the bearing is sealed against dust and lubricant leakage. It is equally at home as a case intake, exhaust or on a CPU cooler.
Airflow and noise
Under PWM control the fan runs from 650 to 1800 rpm, with Cooler Master quoting up to 62 CFM, 2.5 mm-H2O and a noise range of 8 to 27 dB(A). That static pressure figure is enough for a modest radiator or a dust-filtered intake. The rifle bearing is rated for 160,000 hours MTTF, and the fan draws 0.15 A at 12 V, or 1.8 W.
Connectivity
Two leads come off the fan: a 4-pin PWM connector for the motherboard or a fan hub, and a 3-pin 5V addressable RGB connector that plugs into a motherboard ARGB header or an ARGB controller. The LEDs draw 0.21 A at 5 V. Lighting is controlled by the motherboard’s own software, so no Cooler Master controller is required.
Build quality
The fan measures 120 x 120 x 25 mm and comes with standard mounting screws. Cooler Master covers it with a two-year warranty. Punch can fit it as an extra or replacement fan in a new build.
