In Win IW-R400-WC 4U Rack Chassis for Liquid Cooling
A 4U open-bay rackmount chassis with a front section designed to take 120mm and 140mm radiators for liquid-cooled servers and workstations.
The In Win IW-R400-WC is the water-cooling variant of In Win’s R400 family of 4U industrial chassis. Where the standard R400 fills its front with drive cages, the WC version leaves an open bay so that single or dual 120mm radiators, or a dual 140mm radiator, can be mounted at the front with their fans drawing air through the chassis. It is intended for rack-mounted workstations and compute servers that run hot processors or GPUs and need more cooling than air can provide, and it can be used in a 19-inch cabinet or stood as a tower.
Motherboard and expansion
The chassis accepts Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX and Extended ATX boards up to 12 x 13 inches, and provides eight full-height expansion slots, so dual-slot graphics cards and add-in accelerators fit without difficulty. A standard ATX or EPS power supply mounts at the rear.
Cooling and storage
Two 80mm high-airflow PWM fans are fitted at the rear as exhausts and work with the front radiator fans to move air front to back. Internal storage is four 3.5-inch bays and two 2.5-inch bays; there are no 5.25-inch bays. The steel construction is solid rather than windowed, as expected for a rack enclosure.
Dimensions
The chassis measures 530 mm deep, 430 mm wide and 177 mm high (4U) and is finished in silver and black. Punch can build a liquid-cooled rack workstation or server around it to order.
