This PC builds on the already tremendous performance offered by our High End Photography PC by offering increased storage and storage performance, increased memory, a higher performance CPU and improved cooling.   The primary SSD remains 1TB capacity high performance M.2 nVME SSD but the second SSD is also upgraded to the 2TB WD SN7100 which offer excellent performance due to their new PCIe Gen 4.0 interface enabling speeds of up to 73000MB/s but also high endurance for extended longevity.

The systems third drive is also increased to 10TB capacity.  The drive used is the Ironwolf Pro (24/7 rated, 5 years warranty, 300TB/year workload rating) – Register for 2yrs FREE Data Recovery on www.seagate.com/register.  The Ironwolf Pro are built more like a server drive, using only the best grade of components in order to ensure longer lifetime and better performance.  These drives also carry 2 years of Seagate’s rescue and data recovery service which means Seagate will endeavour to recover any data they can from your drive should the drive fail within the 2 year cover period.  They will use the most advanced techniques available in their lab but there are no guarantees if the data is completely gone.

The processor is upgraded to the Core Ultra 9 285K.  This is a 24 core processor capable of operating up to 5.7GHz.  This very high clock speed enables superb image processing speed even for very complex workloads.  The 24 cores are more than enough for Photoshop and Lightroom and are ideal for users wishing to have multiple applications open at once.  The Ultra 9 285K is also ideal for those users wishing to also undertake video editing on the PC or who wish to undertake AI based photo editing.

Building on the already huge specification of our High end system, this photography PC takes the step up to 64GB of DDR5 memory for truly spectacular performance with the largest images in multiple layers and effects. Many images can be loaded at once without degradation of performance. This is a truly professional grade system able to handle fast processing of complex images. The 64GB is also very helpful for those users also undertaking video editing on the same PC as it will allow for editing of complex 4K workloads.

The system also includes a high performance memory card reader which is compatible with Memory Stick, Compact Flash and SD cards including the latest SDXC and SDHC cards.

The power supply is the Contour 850W which will allow for future system upgrades and has plenty of power to spare.

We retain the NVidia Geforce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card which has support for 10-bit colour and a high performance AI acceleration engine for more complex image enhancements.  This is an ideal GPU for complex photo, video and AI editing due to the 12GB of VRAM and the high performance GPU processor.
