Phanteks D30-120 Reverse Airflow D-RGB PWM Fan Triple Pack Black
Three reverse-blade D30 fans that show their clean lit face when mounted as intakes on the visible side of a case.
The reverse airflow version of the Phanteks D30-120 pushes air from the rear of the frame to the front, so it can be fitted with its finished, unobstructed face pointing into a glass-sided or dual-chamber case while still acting as an intake. This triple pack is the usual way to fill a side or bottom intake position in cases such as the Phanteks Evolv X2 or NV series, giving a clean edge-to-edge D-RGB display without visible motor hubs and cables. The fans can be bridged together into a single frame with the supplied clips.
Airflow and noise
Performance is slightly lower than the regular D30 because of the reversed blade geometry: Phanteks quotes 61.5 CFM, 2.72 mm-H2O and 31.8 dB(A) at the 2000 rpm maximum, with PWM control down to 250 rpm for near-silent idling. The 30 mm thick frame still gives more pressure than a conventional 25 mm fan, so the fans are suitable for radiators and dust-filtered intakes. Each uses a fluid dynamic bearing rated for 50,000 hours.
Connectivity
Both the 4-pin PWM and 3-pin JST D-RGB leads are daisy-chain types, so the three fans link together and run from one fan header and one addressable RGB header. Two D-RGB mainboard adapters are included, along with fan and radiator screws, corner clips, bridge clips and screw covers for all three fans.
Lighting
Each fan carries 30 LEDs lighting the whole frame, controlled by a Phanteks controller or a standard 5V addressable RGB header. Phanteks provides a three-year limited warranty. Punch can fit the set in a new build where reverse intakes are needed.
