Performance
DDR4-2400 at CL17 is a JEDEC standard speed, so the module runs at its full rating in any compatible system without changes in the BIOS. ADATA lists support for Intel Coffee Lake, Skylake-X and Kaby Lake-X processors and AMD AM4 and TR4 platforms, and later platforms that accept DDR4-2400 SO-DIMMs will run it at the same speed. The module delivers noticeably faster transfers than DDR3 memory of the previous generation.
Efficiency and reliability
Running at 1.2V, the module uses around 20% less power than DDR3, which reduces heat inside a small chassis and extends notebook battery life. ADATA uses a high-quality PCB for improved signal transfer and system stability, rates the module for 0°C to 85°C operation and backs it with a limited lifetime warranty.
Compatibility
This is a 260-pin DDR4 SO-DIMM and will not fit the 288-pin desktop slots on ATX and micro-ATX boards. Confirm that your system uses SO-DIMM memory before ordering. Punch can fit it in a new mini PC or all-in-one build.
