Ryzen 7600 Radeon 9060 Gaming Computer – Built in the UK
The Metal R RGB Special Edition is a Ryzen 7600 Radeon 9060 gaming computer for 1080p esports and popular online games, with a tempered glass case and aRGB lighting.
This Ryzen 7600 Radeon 9060 gaming computer pairs the AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor with the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB graphics card, 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 1TB WD Blue SN5100 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. All of it sits inside a black Vida Edge aRGB mid tower with a tempered glass side panel. It is built to order and tested in the UK by Punch Technology, and you can change parts in the configurator to suit your budget and the games you play.
The Metal R RGB Special Edition is built on an AMD Ryzen 5 7600 (6 cores, 12 threads, up to 5.1GHz) fitted to an MSI PRO A620M-E motherboard. It has an AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB GDDR6 graphics card, 16GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory (2 x 8GB) and a 1TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD. A Contour 650W ATX PSU powers it, the AMD stock cooler cools the processor, and it comes with genuine, pre-installed Microsoft Windows 11 Home and a 3-year parts and labour warranty.
AMD Ryzen 5 7600 processor and DDR5 memory
The Ryzen 5 7600 is a 6 core, 12 thread processor on the AM5 platform. It runs at a 3.8GHz base clock and boosts up to 5.1GHz, with 32MB of L3 cache and integrated graphics. High single-core speed matters for the esports and online games this PC is aimed at. The 16GB of DDR5 5600MHz memory runs in dual channel as two 8GB modules. The A620 motherboard has two DIMM slots and supports up to 96GB, so a larger kit means replacing the fitted modules. You can also choose different memory in the configurator before you order.
1TB WD Blue SN5100 NVMe SSD storage
The operating system and your games live on a 1TB WD Blue SN5100 M.2 PCIe 4.0 NVMe SSD rated at up to 7100MB/s read and 6700MB/s write. The motherboard’s M.2 slot is PCIe 4.0 x4, so the drive can use its full interface. For extra space later, the board has four free SATA 6Gb/s ports and the case has mounts for 2 x 3.5in and 3 x 2.5in drives.
AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 8GB graphics
The AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT has 2048 cores, 8GB of GDDR6 memory and a 160 W rating. It is aimed at 1080p gaming at medium to high settings. It is not intended for 4K gaming or demanding ray tracing. The card provides 2 x DisplayPort 2.1a and 1 x HDMI 2.1b for up to three monitors, though the exact layout may vary by card brand. Connect your monitors to the graphics card rather than the motherboard outputs.
Vida Edge aRGB case and cooling
The Vida Edge aRGB Black is a mid tower with a tempered glass side panel. It measures 430mm deep, 277mm wide and 430mm high. Four 120mm ARGB fans are pre-installed: three on the side and one at the rear. The processor is cooled by the AMD stock air cooler, and there is no liquid cooler fitted. The Contour 650W ATX PSU is non-modular and supplies the Radeon RX 9060 XT and the rest of the build.
Connectivity and ports
A PCIe card provides dual band Wi-Fi 6 (2400Mbps, 11ax) and Bluetooth 5.2. For a wired connection there is a 1GbE Ethernet port, and the motherboard offers 7.1 channel High Definition Audio (Realtek ALC897). The rear panel has 2 x Type-A 5Gbps and 4 x USB 2.0 ports. The front panel adds 1 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB 2.0 and an HD audio jack. No keyboard or mouse is included.
