A four-heat-pipe single-tower cooler with an addressable RGB fan, a slim 48mm fin stack and a 156mm height.

The Assassin Spirit 120 EVO ARGB is Thermalright’s mainstream tower cooler. Four 6mm heat pipes run from the base up through a black aluminium fin stack that is only 48mm wide, so the cooler stays clear of the memory slots on almost any board. The heatsink weighs 525g without the fan and stands 156mm tall, which fits the large majority of mid-tower cases.

Fan and noise

A 120 x 120 x 25mm fan runs up to 2000 RPM under PWM control, moving 68.9 CFM at 2.21mm-H2O static pressure with a quoted 28.2 dBA at full speed. It uses an S-FDB bearing and draws 0.17A. The addressable RGB lighting connects to a 3-pin 5V motherboard header and is controlled by the board’s lighting software.

Compatibility

Mounting covers Intel LGA115X, 1200, 1700 and 1851 and AMD AM4 and AM5. It is a sound upgrade from a stock cooler for Core i5 and Ryzen 5 and 7 processors, keeping temperatures and noise down at low cost. Punch Technology can fit it in a new build on request.
