Corsair Hydro Series H100x 240mm AIO CPU Cooler (Open Box)
Corsair’s no-frills 240mm liquid cooler with a white-lit pump head and two PWM fans, supplied as an open-box unit.
The Hydro Series H100x is the simplest of Corsair’s 240mm coolers. There is no software, no USB cable and no RGB: the pump head carries a single white LED, the fans plug into motherboard headers and everything is controlled through the BIOS or the board’s fan software. The radiator is a high-density aluminium unit measuring 275 x 120 x 27mm, the cold plate is copper with thermal compound already applied, and the 380mm tubes are white-sleeved low-permeation rubber.
Cooling and noise
Two Corsair SP Series 120mm PWM fans run between 600 and 1700 RPM, delivering 57.2 CFM at 2.08mm-H2O static pressure with a quoted maximum of 37 dBA. Paired with the low-noise pump, that gives plenty of headroom for mainstream Intel Core and AMD Ryzen processors.
Compatibility and condition
The modular tool-free bracket covers AMD AM4 and Intel LGA1151 and LGA2066; note that newer LGA1700 and AM5 boards are not listed on the Corsair page. The cooler weighs 1kg. This is an open-box unit that has been opened and repackaged but is complete. Punch Technology can fit it in a new build where the socket and case allow.
Ideal for
- AM4 Ryzen and LGA1151 Intel builds
- Users who want liquid cooling without software
- Understated builds with minimal lighting
