The Jonsbo D31 Mesh is a black mini tower for Micro-ATX, DTX and Mini-ITX motherboards. At 205mm wide, 363mm tall and 452mm deep it has a 31.3-litre internal volume, yet it still takes a full-length graphics card and radiators in both the roof and the floor. The front panel is 92% open mesh, so airflow is not restricted, and the left side is tempered glass. It suits anyone who wants a small-footprint gaming or work PC without giving up cooling headroom, and Punch can build a new system into it.

Cooling and airflow

No fans are supplied, leaving the choice to the builder. The top takes three 120mm or two 140mm fans, the bottom the same, and there is one 120mm position each at the front and rear, up to eight fans in total. Radiators of 240mm, 280mm or 360mm fit in the roof, 240mm or 360mm in the floor and 120mm at the rear. CPU air coolers up to 168mm tall are supported, which is unusually generous for a case this size.

Clearances and storage

The power supply sits on an adjustable mount with four height positions, and graphics card clearance depends on where it is set: between 330mm and 400mm. Storage is two 2.5in SSD mounts and one 3.5in hard drive bay, which suits an M.2-based build with a single data drive. Four expansion slots take a large graphics card plus one add-in card.

Build and connectivity

The chassis uses 0.6mm and 0.7mm steel panels with a tool-free design for the side panels, and it weighs 5.8kg empty. The I/O panel provides one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, one USB 3.0 port and a combined audio and microphone jack; the Type-C port needs an internal header on the motherboard.
