Corsair RS120 ARGB 120mm PWM Fan Triple Pack White

Three white 120mm fans with magnetic dome bearings and daisy-chained PWM and ARGB leads that run from a single pair of motherboard headers.

The RS120 ARGB is Corsair’s value fan for people who want good airflow and addressable lighting without the iCUE Link ecosystem or a separate controller. The three fans in this white pack chain together, so one 4-pin PWM header and one 5V ARGB header on the motherboard control speed and lighting for all of them through ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light, ASRock Polychrome or Gigabyte RGB Fusion. The white frames and blades suit light-themed builds, and the fans work as intakes, exhausts or radiator fans.

Airflow and noise

Corsair’s AirGuide anti-vortex vanes straighten the airflow, and the fans are PWM controlled from 420 to 2100 rpm with support for Zero RPM, so they can stop completely at low load. Corsair quotes 13.3 to 72.8 CFM, 0.2 to 4.15 mm-H2O and 10 to 36 dB(A) across that range, which gives them enough static pressure for 240mm and 360mm radiators as well as case duty.

Connectivity

Each fan has a daisy-chain 4-pin PWM connector and a daisy-chain +5V ARGB connector, so the three link in series and only the last fan’s leads go back to the motherboard. Power draw is 0.4 A per fan. No controller or software is required; lighting is handled entirely by the motherboard.

Build quality

The magnetic dome bearing reduces friction and mechanical noise and is the reason Corsair backs these fans with a five-year warranty. Twelve mounting screws are included. Punch can fit the set in a new white build.
