MSI MAG CoreLiquid A13 240 White Liquid CPU Cooler

A white 240mm all-in-one liquid cooler with ARGB Gen2 fans and block, for Intel LGA1851/1700 and AMD AM5/AM4 systems.

The MAG CoreLiquid A13 240 is MSI’s entry-level closed-loop cooler, offered here in white to match light-themed cases and motherboards. It uses a copper cold plate under a compact pump block, a 27 mm aluminium radiator and two 120mm PWM fans with ARGB Gen2 lighting. The pre-filled loop needs no maintenance, and it gives a mid-range gaming or productivity PC more cooling headroom than a similarly priced air cooler while leaving the memory slots and VRM heatsinks unobstructed.

Cooling and noise

Each rifle-bearing fan moves up to 62.6 CFM and is rated at 31.1 dB(A) at full speed, with PWM control letting the motherboard keep them slow and quiet at idle. The pump runs at 3800 rpm and MSI quotes an average pump noise of 20 dB(A), so it is not intrusive in a quiet room. MSI rates the fans for 40,000 hours and the pump for 25,000 hours in typical use. Thermal paste is supplied in the box.

Compatibility

MSI’s datasheet lists Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 and AMD AM5 and AM4. The radiator measures 277 x 119.6 x 27 mm and the block is 70.9 x 69.3 x 57 mm, so the cooler fits any case with a 240mm roof or front mount. The EPDM tubing is flexible enough for either orientation.

Lighting

Both fans and the pump block use ARGB Gen2 lighting on a standard 5V 3-pin header, with a 450 mm combined ARGB and PWM cable. Lighting syncs with MSI Mystic Light or any motherboard’s addressable RGB software. Punch can fit it in a new white-themed build.
