This value plus video editing system offers a major step up in a number of key areas.  The memory is increased to 64GB which is ideal for editing in 4k, more complex content can be processed quicker.  The memory is also high speed as it runs at 6000MHz so overall performance is increased.  This system also utilises high performance NVMe SSD drives for both the application drive and your scratch drive and also now includes a 4TB hard drive for your archive footage.

This system uses the Intel i4-14600KF which offers the best value video editing processor at this price point due to the higher IPC and inclusion of 14 processor cores and 20 threads and the inclusion of a larger processor cache.  The high performance cooling ensures performance remains at maximum for extended periods of time.

The power supply is increased to a 750w unit in order to allow for more future upgrades.  This power supply is very efficient and provides high quality and stable output even under very heavy loads and copes well with sudden power demands.  The PSU fan is a large 120mm unit which can vary the fan speed according to demand therefore keeping noise to a minimum.

The superb Be Quiet! Pure Base 600 chassis is also a worth mentioning as the chassis quality takes a step forward from the cheaper models.  The system can accept a total of 4 SATA drives by providing capacity for 4 in any combination of 3.5″ drives 2.5″ drives. Also, the motherboard we use can support 3 x M.2 high-performance SSDs so in total you can use seven storage drives in this system.  It is also possible to configure a further three 3.5″ or 2.5″ storage drives.
