Cherry DC 2000 Wired USB Keyboard and Mouse Set, UK Layout, Black

Cherry DC 2000 Wired USB Keyboard and Mouse Set, UK Layout, Black

A plain, hard-wearing wired keyboard and mouse set from Cherry, built for everyday office work.

The Cherry DC 2000 is a corded desktop set aimed squarely at the office: a full-size UK-layout keyboard with a flat profile and a three-button symmetrical mouse, both connecting over USB with no drivers or batteries to think about. It is the sensible choice for a business PC, a home office or a shared machine where reliability and a familiar layout matter more than lighting and gaming features. Punch can include this set with any new build so the system is ready to use out of the box.

Keyboard

The keyboard uses a standard full-size UK layout with 105 keys plus four hotkeys for the calculator, e-mail, browser and sleep mode. Key legends are abrasion-resistant so they stay legible through years of typing, and Cherry rates the keys for up to 10 million keystrokes. Three blue status LEDs show the lock states, and the keyboard has integrated adjustable feet. Cherry’s GS certification confirms it is suitable for professional office use, and the CHERRY KEYS software lets you reassign keys if you want to.

Mouse

The mouse is a standard-size, symmetrical design that suits left- and right-handed users, with three buttons and a scroll wheel. A PixArt sensor at 1,200 dpi gives precise, predictable tracking on a normal desk mat, and the clicky switches give clear feedback without being loud.

Connectivity and compatibility

Keyboard and mouse each use a single USB-A connection and are plug and play under Windows. There are no receivers to lose and nothing to charge, which is why wired sets like this remain the default for offices, schools and reception desks. The set carries CE, UKCA, GS and FCC approvals among others.

Ideal for

• Business and home office PCs that need a dependable wired set
• Shared and public machines where batteries and wireless receivers are a nuisance
• Completing a new Punch build with matching input devices
